Erica Clonts, PTA Erica is a Physical Therapist Assistant originally from Amarillo, TX. She graduated from Amarillo College in 2013 and began her PTA career by working in an acute care hospital for three years. To expand their horizons, dreams and careers, she and her husband decided to live in Costa Rica for 6 months to serve the community and attend an immersion school to learn Spanish. When they returned to the States, they moved to Colorado Springs in April of 2017. She is excited to join outpatient therapy and expand her skill sets and challenge herself. As a PTA, she thrives on encouraging her patients to take ownership of their own therapy so they can become independent and confident in returning to everyday activities. She wants her patients to be informed about how intricate the human body is and how incredibly our body works, moves, protects, and heals. She enjoys living in Colorado Springs where she has more opportunities to be in the outdoors more. She has worked on a ranch caring for horses and cattle and began conquering Colorado's 14ers. Her hobbies include loving on horses, dogs, cats, reading, volunteering for various church activities, and being outdoors--hiking, camping, climbing 14ers, skiing, snowboarding, running and exercising. She hopes to do some mountain biking and complete her first half-marathon this year.
