Elizabeth Ruch, OTD,OTR/L
Elizabeth Ruch earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in 2003 and has practiced in acute care, outpatient therapy, skilled nursing, and home health.
Two years ago, Elizabeth had a Distal Radial Ulnar Joint (wrist) replacement which changed her life. Before this surgery, she was unable to play viola, make crafts, or even feed herself without debilitating pain. As a patient, she understands how deeply limitations in your daily life can impact you and how important it is to work on the client’s goals.
Elizabeth practices Trigger Point Dry Needling and is a SAEBO certified therapist. Elizabeth loves using her creativity for custom splinting, kinesio taping, and adapting common objects to maximize client’s functioning. As a migraine sufferer, Elizabeth has a special interest in serving this population.
Elizabeth loves spending time with her family, traveling, camping, and all things crafty, especially tatting. Elizabeth also loves practicing her Spanish and playing viola in the Pikes Peak Philharmonic.
